Omitron provides certification and accreditation services for the operational satellite ground systems as well as for new systems for the NOAA/NESDIS/Office of Systems Development at the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility in Suitland, MD for the NOAA/NESDIS/Office of Systems Development (OSD). Omitron continues to play a significant role in the successful accreditation of major NOAA systems:
- Comprehensive Large Array-data Stewardship System (CLASS)
- Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES)
- Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellite (POES)
- Data Collection System (DCS)
- Ocean Surface Topographic Mission (OSTM)/Jason-2
Omitron currently offers ISSO and security management services through its contract to NESDIS at the NOAA Satellite Operation Facility.
